it's the jil sander market acetate bag that i featured in my last post, which, for me, was one of the stand-out accessories of the spring/summer 2011 collections. not because it is flashy or even that pretty, but it makes a statement. it's so pedestrian, but the fabrication, colour and ease of it make it super-appealing.
i ordered it off 'net-a-porter' last thursday and it arrived at the post office this morning... which i have to say is amazing, considering it came from 'net-a-porter's' headquarters in london, and over the weekend. it was such a treat to un-wrap, all done up with monogrammed ribbon, then inside, was a little dust-bag, inside it, was a tape measure [monogrammed, of course] and a pamphlet to fill in with all your measurements, such a great idea, easy to refer to when making your next purchase. then came the best bit, the jil sander dust-bag which held my precious...
