i don't quite know how this has happened, but this 20 year old singer-songwriter meaghan elliot has somehow released lady gaga's 'dance in the dark' as her first single on itunes. i am gutted, this was supposedly going to be gaga's next single, there was a cover released and everything. unfortunately what meaghan has done is take away all the was amazing, original and gaga about this song and made it a generic radio-ready pop-rock song that lacks originality. all that was special about this song is gone, the opening, and the ode to the amazing women who are no longer with us. i seriously fail to believe how lady gaga could let this happen.

To avoid any confusion,
ReplyDeleteIt's not her first single. She released an EP before the cover of Dance in the Dark. She worked with the songwriter, and he is aware of this cover. Lady Gaga had NOTHING to do with this, so no disappointment needed in her direction.
